Finding
a psychotherapist for you
We
operate a referral system where an experienced psychotherapist
interviews and assesses with the client, the client's therapeutic
needs. The client is then referred to a suitable psychotherapist.
We are able to offer services from psychotherapists who are
members of minority groups in the community or who have particular
areas of expertise or experience - such as addictions, learning
disability or trauma.
Referrals
from organisations
CAPP
accepts referrals from statutory services and organisations
in the community. If you wish to refer someone to us, we will
be pleased to discuss our approach and funding arrangements
. We will then ask you to invite the person to contact us
directly to arrange an assessment interview.
Referrals
from carers
We
welcome organisations and carers involved with people who
cannot email or phone us themselves, to contact us to talk
about what we can offer.
