KATE WHITE is a registered Member of the Centre for
Attachment-based Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy where
she has been Chair of the Education Committee, and is
a training therapist, supervisor, and teacher. Formerly
senior lecturer at
South Bank University in the Department of Nursing and
Community Health Studies, she has used her extensive
experience in adult education in her work for the United
Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy, where she chaired
the Training Standards and Membership Committee of the
Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Section. In addition
to working as an individual psychotherapist, Kate is
consultant to, and has run workshops for, a range of
community and mental health projects on the themes of
attachment and trauma. One of her particular interests
is in sibling relationships.
